On January 26, 2018, the city implemented CAPTCHA (stands for Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart...see below) on the 311 Aircraft Noise Complaint system.
This is the ONLY 311 reporting being restricted in this manner, and with the sole intent of reducing complaints by making an already archaic system even more difficult to use.
We've updated the Chicagonoisecomplaint.com app to accommodate CAPTCHA so that the mobile friendly features are still available. We'll continue to look for other options to keep this system accessible for all residents in the city and suburbs.
